Evaluation question 7: Progression from preliminary task

Comparing my preliminary task with my final project:

There are several key advancements from my preliminary task that we did better when creating the final project. Such as:
-The camera angles and shots are better planned out and therefore they give the film a much better look overall, this is because how the shots link together is much more organic and seems to link together much better than before.
-The acting looks much more believable as we cut down the dialogue to nothing, this makes the situation more believable as the characters are judged on emotion rather than words, making the films much better than the preliminary task.
-The sounds from editing are much better as they are cleare. Along with the radio effect on the background music the sound makes the final project better present

Evaluation question 6: What have I learned about technology through the process of creating our Thriller opening?

Here is the Slide rocket website Answer to my evaluation question 6:

Evaluation question 5: How did you attract/Address the audience?

For our movie we tried to build suspense mainly to attract the audience into wanting to see more or our film. We did this by slowly building up the tension on screen to a point where you only see the villain for the first time over half way through the intro. This makes the audience want to see who the villain is, and wonder how our movie is going to be a thriller. Here is a screenshot of the first sighting of the villain:
The effect of creating suspense helps us to attract an audience as we can sell our film on that basis. This is also enhanced by the roles the characters play in terms of relating to the audience. By the villain wearing converse, a popular youth clothing brand,  teenagers especially can relate that to their own lives and therefore make the link that the villain is actually as young as them. And the by the main character having an everyday , same job same routine we can sell the product on the idea that it can happen to anyone, a common them in thriller movies. The location set in a regular London neighbourhood gives it a 'closer to home' felling as the audience would see that this could be a something that happens near where they live and make the film that much more engaging for them.
